Low Level Laser Therapy

Low level laser therapy of various wave lengths have proven beneficial and have been used in most of the world for over twenty years. Their care is considered routine. Based on over 2000 studies worldwide, today it can be safely said that lasers have an important positive biological effect in over 90% of the studies. One of the ways low level lasers work is to re-energize injured cellular membranes which allows for better nutrition to reach the cell and form healthy new cells. They can also be used for acupoint stimulation.

We use 4 different lasers for 4 different main purposes.
1. The “DIAGNOdent” is used to detect hidden cavities.
2. The HOYA Con Bio “DELight” is used to remove decay
3. The HOYA Con Bio “DIODent II” is used for multiple soft tissue surgical procedures.
4. Low Level Lasers have been proven to have a beneficial biological effect.
