Sealants

These are like a plastic coating placed on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. For over thirty years sealants have been placed on teeth not knowing if there was decay underneath.

Today, by using the DIAGNOdent cavity detecting laser first and then cleaning the tooth with the DELight laser, we can be almost 100% sure we are not sealing decay inside the tooth where the cavity goes undetected while it gets bigger and bigger.
